When Genevieve was just eight years old, she made her film debut as a featured child actress in the hit television show Ripples.

Nollywood was still developing when she appeared in the 1998 film Most Wanted at the age of 19. Additionally, she was a part of a few Nollywood films, including Ijele, Last Party, Mark of the Beast, and Ije.

More than 200 Nollywood films included Genevieve in them.

Genevieve earned the Best Actress prize at the 2001 City People Awards.

She became the award's first artist with the award. She also made history in 2003 by becoming the first actress to get the Nigerian Censors Board's Best Actress award.

Genevieve was chosen as the face of Lux in 2004 after receiving more votes than the other celebrities who also applied. She signed with the Ghanaian record company EKB record the same year, and they worked together to create her debut album.

One Logologo Line is an album that combines urban, hip-hop, and R&B music.

Genevieve became the first performer to do so in 2005 when she won the Best Actress Oscar for her leading part in an African film.

She became one of the highest-paid actresses in Nollywood in 2009 as a result of her influence on the Nigerian film industry. She received a special invitation to the Oprah Winfrey show the same year, and Oprah referred to her as the African Julia Roberts on air.

In November 2015, Genevieve produced her debut film, Road to Yesterday, which went on to win the Africa Magic Viewers' Favorite Award in 2016 for Best Film in West Africa.

In 2018, there were reports that Genevieve will take Funke Akindele's position in the Marvel Studios film Avengers: Infinity War. Genevieve didn't appear in the movie, and it was only an internet joke.

Genevieve's Daughter

Genevieve became pregnant when she was 17 years old, but there was no mention of the baby on social media.

Theodora Chimebuka Nnaji, Genevieve's younger sister, is frequently misidentified as Genevieve's child in the media.

Theodora founded Naj makeup artistry, a celebrity makeup studio and school in Yaba, Lagos. She holds a degree in mass communication.

Theodora wed Prince Osi Chigozie Ikediwa, her longtime love, in 2016, and the couple welcomed a baby.

Genevieve offered her sister her congratulations during Theodora's wedding. The event was attended by people including Nollywood star Ramsey Noah, and the speaker claimed that her sister is no longer the infant she once knew.

According to the events that have taken place throughout time, Genevieve has been able to keep her daughter out of the spotlight for many years, and the woman who was mistaken for her daughter is actually her sister. Theodora's son and Genevieve's grandson are not related.

Although Theodora's age is unknown to the general world, Genevieve celebrates her birthday on May 27 by wishing her a happy birthday on social media.

Genevieve's younger brother is Stephen Nnaji. Typically, Genevieve shares images of him on her social media profile. Stephen is a University of London alumnus.

Genevieve Nnaji Husband

Genevieve has never been wed as of yet. She was closely associated with Dbanj, the singer of "Fall in Love," between 2013 and 2014.

The latter mother, however, objected to the coupling, ending the connection that appeared to lead to marriage.

Because Genevieve was much older than Dbanj, Dbanj's mother felt that the two of them shouldn't get married because, in her opinion, it would be incorrect.

Atiku Abubakar, a candidate for president, has been linked to Genevieve. The relationship, however, has only been described as closeness between a boyfriend and a girlfriend. Genevieve's relationship is unknown because the actress is skilled at keeping her personal affairs out of the spotlight.

Net Worth

Genevieve Nnaji has an estimated net worth of $20 million due to her recognition as one of the highest-earning African actresses on the planet and her status as a role model for many aspiring actors.
