She received her primary education at Mainland Prepatory Nursery and Primary in Surelere and her secondary education at Methodist Girls High School in Yaba.

She studied theatre arts for two years at the University of Ibadan. She attempted to enroll in the University of Lagos' Creative Arts program but left early. While her mother wanted her to become a lawyer, her father wanted her to be a newscaster.
