Actress Kudirat Ogunro reveals why her fellow ladies should learn how to embrace their husband side chicks

Kudirat Ogunro, the talented Yoruba actress and filmmaker popularly known as Kudi Alagbo, has shared some interesting advice for married women. In her recent statement, she suggested that women should come to terms with the fact that their husbands may have affairs with other women.

However, Kudi Alagbo also emphasized the importance of maintaining good mental health and harmony in the home. To achieve this, she recommended that women should strive to make peace with their husband's "side chicks" instead of fighting with them.

This unconventional advice may raise eyebrows, but it carries a crucial message. Kudi Alagbo is advocating for a more practical approach to dealing with marital challenges, which ultimately leads to a more peaceful and stable family life.

She said, “These days, one (a woman) needs to have it at the back of one’s mind that at home, one’s husband could be ‘my bear’. But, when he is outside, he becomes, ‘our daddy’. I believe that 70 per cent of men cheat; so for one’s sanity, one should know that a ‘side chic’ exists somewhere. By doing that, one can celebrate more blissful years in one’s marriage. This truth is bitter for some; but the earlier one knows it, the better for one’s mental health.”
Kudi also disagreed with the notion that all actresses depend on ‘sugar daddies’ to meet their needs. She said, “I don’t belong to the school of thought that believes actresses depend on sugar daddies to meet their needs. Some may depend on helpers for assistance, but because most of us are in the limelight, any successful thing we do is usually linked to a sugar daddy.”
For women who may find this advice challenging, Kudi Alagbo offers a fresh perspective on how to navigate marital issues in a way that preserves their mental and emotional wellbeing. Her message is a reminder that as women, we can take control of our lives and choose to live in harmony with those around us, even if it means making some unconventional choices.
Speaking on why she delved into making herbal products, she said, “Kudi Alagbo is the brand name I gave my herbal products. I am from a family where everyone has a knowledge of herbs. Unlike many who sell herbs online and don’t have the wherewithal, I am different because that was our family’s means of livelihood when I was growing up; and even till now.”

In conclusion, Kudi Alagbo's advice to married women is a call to action for us all. It encourages us to prioritize our mental health, embrace practical solutions, and foster harmonious relationships in our homes. By following this advice, we can build stronger, more resilient families that can withstand the challenges of life.
