"He ate most of the food but passed the bill to me" ~ Lady narrates her worst date experience
Dating can be a nerve-wracking experience, especially when you end up with someone who lacks basic table manners. One woman, Linda, recently shared her unpleasant date experience where her partner's uncouth behavior was so irritating that she vowed never to see him again.
Linda and her date went to an eatery, and to share the meal, they ordered a chicken bucket, pack of chips, and soda drink. Unfortunately, her date's eating etiquette left a lot to be desired. He consumed most of the chicken, leaving her with only three pieces, and he didn't offer to share the chips.
To make matters worse, when the bill arrived, her date passed it to Linda, despite being the one who consumed most of the food. Linda reluctantly paid the bill, but that was the end of the road for the date. She blocked him without any further delay.
This experience highlights the importance of proper dining etiquette, especially when on a date. Whether it's a first date or not, basic table manners, such as sharing food, offering to pay, and using cutlery properly, can go a long way in creating a good impression.
She wrote; “I went for a date to KFC this guy ordered the kfc bucket, family pack chips and 1littre of soda.. I was like that should be enough for the both of us.. man’s was eating like there’s no tomorrow.Personally I ate like 3pieces but he ate the rest.. when the waitress brought the bill the guy confidently pushed it to my direction.. I paid and blocked him right away.”
In conclusion, if you're planning to go on a date, it's essential to be mindful of your table manners. You don't want to end up like Linda's date, who lost his chance with her due to his uncouth behavior. Remember, good table manners never go out of style.
