Nigeria's President, Muhammadu Buhari, has urged Nigerians to exercise patience with his administration as they navigate the current harsh economic conditions caused by the cash swap policy. The President conveyed this message in a prerecorded video from the African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, as announced by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu.

In his message, President Buhari also implored Nigerians to maintain peace during the upcoming general elections and to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The President believes that Tinubu is the best candidate to lead the country forward and bring about positive change.

Furthermore, President Buhari called upon traditional rulers, religious leaders, and parents to warn their followers and children to avoid being manipulated by a few individuals who may seek to incite violence during the elections.

As a nation, we must remain united and committed to peaceful coexistence, especially during this crucial time. President Buhari and his administration are working tirelessly to ease the current economic challenges, and with the support and patience of Nigerians, we can overcome these difficulties and emerge stronger.

I want to assure you that the government has taken adequate security measures to allow everyone to come out and cast their votes. I am therefore appealing to everyone to give them the necessary support.

In conclusion, let us continue to exercise patience, maintain peace, and work together towards building a prosperous and united Nigeria.
