Speed Darlington went on to assert that Naira Marley was not even in the music industry in 2015 or 2016 when he was releasing songs and videos consistently. While Naira Marley did achieve mainstream success with his 2017 hit single 'Issa Goal' featuring Olamide and Lil Kesh, it was his controversial 2019 single 'Am I A Yahoo Boy' that truly established him as a force to be reckoned with in the industry.
In a video that has since gone viral, the self-proclaimed "energy god" further claimed that he is also responsible for the creation of the Zanku dance, but alleges that it was stolen from him and popularized by others.
As a US-based Nigerian artist, Speed Darlington continues to make waves in the music industry, with his unique brand of music and entertaining personality garnering him a sizeable fanbase both at home and abroad.
