Actor Kelvin Ikeduba breaks silence as he speaks on naira confusion in the country [video]
Nigerian actor Kelvin Ikeduba has taken to Instagram to express his exasperation over the chaotic state of the Naira in Nigeria. In a heartfelt post, the 46-year-old actor lamented the challenges that many Nigerians are facing as they try to go about their daily lives amidst the confusion surrounding the currency.
Despite the Central Bank of Nigeria's directive for banks to accept older Naira notes, some vendors are still hesitant to do so, fearing that the CBN will reject them. This has caused a great deal of frustration among Nigerians who are struggling to make ends meet.

Kelvin drew a comparison between the confusion of INEC and CBN, pointing out that the so-called directive is not being implemented properly. Some individuals are relying on President Buhari's words instead of official statements from the CBN.
Kelvin said: I have never seen a country as confused as this country? Among CBN and INEC I don’t know who is more confused. what is going in this country…

In the lead-up to the presidential election, a directive was issued stating that older Naira notes would no longer be considered legal tender. However, a few days after the election, a new statement was released stating that the older notes should once again be accepted in circulation. Despite this, sellers and business owners have yet to comply, making it difficult for Nigerians to conduct their daily transactions.
