Afrobeats star Davido has opened up about his friendship with Wizkid, a fellow musician.

Davido claimed that Wizkid always calls him once a week to see how he's doing in an interview with Beat 99.9FM.

He confirmed their tour and said that preparations for it, which will happen the next year, are already underway.

He also mentioned that they would definitely release a song together with the Grammy-winning performer.

“I would be lying to you if I tell you that (the tour) is not in the talks. It”s looking like next year. I think me and Wiz are probably going to drop a record. Shout out to my brother. He literally calls me every week and checks on me. Shout out to Wiz”.
