Naira Marley, the renowned Nigerian rapper and music executive, recently voiced his support for the re-election bid of Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the current governor of Lagos state. According to the Marlian Music boss, Sanwo-Olu is the right man for the job and has already achieved a lot during his first term in office.

In a recent live video, the ‘Tesumole’ crooner explained that the current governor has the experience and expertise required to move Lagos state to even greater heights. He clarified that he does not support any particular political party, including the APC, PDP, or LP, but believes that Sanwo-Olu has done enough to be rewarded with a second term in office.

Naira Marley went on to issue a disclaimer, stating that he was not paid to express his support for the APC governorship candidate. He emphasized that the situation in Lagos does not need any experimental candidate, and Sanwo-Olu is the best person for the job.

Furthermore, the rapper highlighted the significant development in infrastructure and other aspects that have been evident and accessible for all to witness under Sanwo-Olu’s leadership. He urged Lagosians to support the governor's re-election bid and to give him the opportunity to continue his good work.
