“She’s my choice, we love each other” ~ Nigerian man says as he flaunts his young newly wedded wife   

In a recent and controversial event in Kano State, Nigeria, a video surfaced online showing a man in his sixties tying the knot with a young girl. While some sources claim that the bride is an 11-year-old minor, others assert that she is 21. Regardless of her age, the wedding ceremony has sparked outrage and raised concerns about child marriage in the country.

“She’s my choice, we love each other”, he said.

In the video, the groom speaks about his choice to marry the young girl, stating that they are in love with each other. However, the ethics and legality of their relationship have been questioned, as child marriage is illegal in Nigeria.
