A recent video featuring three of Nigeria's hottest singers, Bella Shmurda, Mohbad, and Lil Kesh, has taken the internet by storm, generating a plethora of reactions among netizens.

The video captures the trio inside a studio, surrounded by a positive vibe, but it's the way Mohbad and Bella Shmurda address Lil Kesh that has caught the attention of many.

During the video, Bella Shmurda and Mohbad reveal that they grew up listening to Lil Kesh's songs, paying homage to the singer in a show of respect.

It's worth noting that Lil Kesh first burst onto the Nigerian music scene in 2012 with his hit single, "Lyrically," which was followed by a string of other hit songs like "Shoki," "Efejoku," "Gbese," and "Shoki" among others while he was under the YNBL record label.

In 2016, after his contract with YBNL expired, Lil Kesh started his record label called YAGI. At this time, both Bella Shmurda and Mohabd were nowhere to be found in the music scene.

Mohbad goes on to reveal that he used to listen to Lil Kesh's music during his formative years. Bella Shmurda also shows his respect by referring to Lil Kesh with the Yoruba word "Eyin," which is used to address an elder deserving of respect.

In response, Lil Kesh was visibly surprised and amused by the show of respect, clearly not expecting such reverence from his fellow artists. The video has since gone viral, with fans applauding the young artists for showing respect to their elder colleague.

It's heartwarming to see the younger generation of Nigerian artists paying homage to their predecessors and acknowledging the contributions of those who paved the way for them. It's a testament to the deep-rooted cultural values of respect and gratitude that are ingrained in the Nigerian society.
