Yoruba man makes shocking revelation as he narrates what stops him from marrying his igbo fiancee
A Yoruba man by the name of Komolafe has described how his aspirations to wed an Igbo girl were derailed by intertribal conflict.
He claimed that after knowing of his ethnicity, his lover's parents forbade them from getting married.
The young man claimed that because his fiancée insisted on moving forward with the marriage, she was flogged and harassed.

Komolafe, who recounted his experience on Twitter, claimed that the mother of his child contacted him repeatedly to warn him not to leave their kid alone.
After everything that had occurred, he said that he and his girlfriend had decided to part ways because they had realized they could not coexist.
Komolafe also provided screenshots of a WhatsApp chat.
He wrote; “I was supposed to Marry an Igbo Lady, at d Mention of my tribe to her Dad, He vehemently refused. She did all she could, she was flogged, Harassed & ostracized by her fam. Her mum called several times to warn me, based on the fuss at home. We held on together amidst all d uproar.But at a point, we both knew we can’t work & had to let go. Those were d worst time of my life as I couldn’t imagine letting go a woman I was sure I loved after my Grandma. In all of this, i wondered why d man hated my tribe so much. Now i know better & i am not angry anymore.”
