Many left shock as Davido speaks on his relationship with Burnaboy
David Adeleke, a Grammy-winning artist from Nigeria better known by his stage name Davido, has spoken out about his connection with Burna Boy coworker Damini Ogulu.
He claimed that although they no longer communicate frequently, they used to be very good friends.
On the Morning Show on Hot 97FM in New York, Davido, who was interviewed by Ebro, claimed that he and Burna get along well.
The "Last Last" singer still occasionally checks in on him, the DMW chief said, especially during and after his period of grieving.
Regarding cooperation among Afrobeats musicians, OBO announced
“Afrobeats [artists] we are in unity. I spoke to Burna [Boy]. He called me. He calls me as well but we’ve not really spoken like that.”
Regarding his intentions to settle his differences with the self-described African Giant, Davido stated;
“I think I definitely would. He [Burna Boy] called me. Wiz [Kid] called me. And funny enough, me and Burna used to be mad close. Very very close.”
