Police Officers reportedly arrests Crossdresser who deceives men into seeking his hand in marriage
The Kebbi State police command has detained a crossdresser who goes by the alias "Maryam" and preys on unwary guys.
He was alleged to have had internet affairs with a lot of men, which caused them to rush to take him as their wife without realizing he was a man.
The Gwandune town crossdresser allegedly received thousands of Naira from suitors who were attempting to convince "her" to accept their marriage offers.
Things changed, though, as the victims began to wonder what it was about Maryam that made so many men eager to compete for her love.
When questioned, the suspect admitted to the crime and said that the several guys who pursued her had given him a lot of money, including foreign currency.
'Maryam' has been detained, according to the Police, and will face charges.
The drag queen is seen performing as his female avatar in a video that is becoming viral online.
