"Them wan open supermarket" many expresses shock as Man shares bride price lists in-laws gave him with deadline [photos]
Pictures of bride price lists presented to a man have gone viral online, which has in turn sparked a huge response.
The images were posted on the microblogging site, Twitter, by @Kayjnr, and they showed that the long list bride price had a deadline.
The list, which included 59 pricey products, had an April deadline. The marriage lists stipulated that the prospective husband must purchase a home and a vehicle for the bride.
In addition to the dowry of 50,000 Ghana Cedis (N2.1 million), the groom was also required to continue covering the bride's school expenses.
When showing the pictures, Kayjnr10 said he was unaware that the bride price payment now has a due date.
"Never knew them dey give deadline for payment of marriage lists, eii," he wrote in his journal.
Social media users attacked the woman's relatives in the comments area as they hurried to express their opinions.
