Watch viral video of singer portable being bundled inside prison van and transported to Correctional facility
Notorious singer Portable was moved to the Ilaro Correctional Center in Ogun State's Yewa South Local Government Area on Monday until he complies with his bail requirements.
You might remember that he was charged with five assault-related offences in court before Chief Magistrate A.S. Shoneye.
Nonetheless, Portable entered a not guilty plea to the accusations.
The presiding judge stated the offenses are bailable and granted the singer bail with a bail bond of N300,000 and N500,000 as well as two sureties who must reside within the jurisdiction of the honorable court in his judgement on the bail application presented by the artist's attorney.
Nonetheless, the court decided that the defendant should be sent to the Ilaro Correctional Facility until his bail conditions are being met.
The case has been postponed until April 26 so that the trial can begin.
But, when the court session was over, Portable was removed by guards from the detention facility and placed in a prison car that was going to Ilaro.
Force Public Relations Officer Muyiwa Adejobi reported on Saturday that someone was taken into custody for resisting arrest and hurting a police officer.
