Akwa Ibom lecturer shock students as he uses Hilda Baci’s Guinness World Record cook-a-thon to set exam question 

After achieving a historic feat on Monday, Nigerian chef Hilda Essien Bassey, aka Hilda Baci, was mentioned in test questions for May 17 at Akwa Ibom Polytechnic in Ikot, Osurua.

Baci, a native of Akwa Ibom state, was highlighted as the second question by a mass communication lecturer in connection to her popular Guinness World Record cook-a-thon.

A copy of the exam's question paper was supplied to CorrectNG, and it was held today, May 17, 2023.

For HND 1 students taking Mac 31: Communication Theories in the first semester of 2022/2023, the test was scheduled.

The syllabus required students to use Hilda's popular cooking marathon to explain a theory put out by Canadian-American physicist Albert Banura.

The question reads; “Using the social media trending issue of Hilda Baci’s ‘Cook-a-thon, justify the social leaming theory of Albert Bandura.”

This happens just 48 hours after the chef beat the record for the longest solo cooking session.

Baci's four-day "cook-a-thon" ended on Monday at 100 hours after starting on Thursday, May 11 at Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State.

The Indian chef Lata Tondon currently holds the record with 87 hours, 45 minutes, which the 27-year-old recent graduate beat in Rewa, India in 2019.
