 Mixed reactions as two Nigeria ladies ties knot in US


Elizabeth Ekpo and Krystle Ekpo, a lesbian couple from Nigeria, wed in a combined church and traditional wedding ceremony in the United States of America.



The ladies had reportedly been dating for some time, and they were both delighted to finally become husband and wife.
On social media, pictures from their wedding, which was attended by close friends, have already sparked discussions.



Elizabeth commented on her Facebook page, along with some of the images, "Married the love of my life."

The couple dubbed themselves "African Queens" and popped bottles of wine to toast to a long and happy marriage.
Chanda Anderson, Krystle's sister, also wished them a happy marriage on Facebook.

She wrote; “My baby sister Krystle got married to the love of her life Dr. Elizabeth Ekpo this past weekend in NOLA. I gained a additional sister Liz ♥️.

I wish the both of you happiness and joy forever. Congratulations I Love you all Always #marriedtomednola.”
