Singer Bad Boy Timz narrates How he got shot in the eye at 9 years old by assassins in Mushin [video]

Fast-rising Nigerian artist Olorunyomi Oloruntimilehin, also known as Bad Boy Timz, has described how when he was nine years old, "assassins" shot him in the eye.

Bad Boy Timz described how the gunmen who ambushed a car carrying his family in Lagos' Mushin neighborhood started shooting randomly and one of the bullets injured him in the eye in an interview with British-Nigerian TV personality Shopsydoo.

He said: “I got shot in my eye when I was nine years old. They were assassins, they didn’t even stop the car, they just shot the bullets. It was not a robbery.

“Me, my mom, my dad, and my immediate elder brother. It was four of us in the car. The incident happened in Lagos, Mushin to be precise. They just overtook us and started shooting. They were targeting my dad’s head, he dodged and the bullet went straight into my eye.”

Timz revealed that he will soon have another eye surgery and claimed that the attackers were never found.
