Tension as Ogun state police causes fatal accident while chasing car being driven by mechanic whom they mistook for yahoo boy [video]

A mechanic who police allegedly believed to be a yahoo boy was engaged in an automobile accident in Igbeba on Wednesday, making it a sad day in Ogun state.

He was spotted driving a customer's car by police officers on patrol in their van, and they gave chase after him after suspecting him of being a fraudster.

A video that just went viral online shows the damage done to the automobiles and how the neighbors were calling the police officers names before they abandoned the van.

As bystanders tried to recover everything they could from the car, one of the security guards could be seen running from the scene of the tragedy.
