“Why I don’t post my husband on social media” ~ Comedian Kiekie speaks on her marriage in an interview [watch]

Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, better known by her stage name Kiekie, is an award-winning brand influencer and skit creator. She has explained why she does not publish pictures of her husband on social media.

Any Kiekie fan or follower would be aware that the sketch creator and actress doesn't post or discuss her marriage on her social media profiles, leading some to believe she is concealing.

Speaking about it in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Kiekie claimed that her Instagram page is a business page for her rather than a place where she hides her husband.

She claims that she doesn't show off her husband because he isn't an employee of her company and doesn't get paid by her.

Because he was a part of her daughter's pregnancy, the mother of one child only ever posted him at that period.

“I don’t share my husband on Instagram not because I’m hiding him but because my Instagram is a business Instagram. My husband is not part of my business. He doesn’t collect a salary. What ‘consine’ him?”.

“But I’m pregnant and I wanted to share it, it’s not me that ‘pregnant and I wanted to share it, it’s not me that ‘pregnant’ by myself. It was a collaboration and he’s alive and we’re not fighting so why not. So when we had the baby and we’re going to do Thanksgiving. It was family”.

Because it's MY birthday, Kiekie explained why she doesn't post him on his birthday. He's not even on Instagram, so I don't see why I should post something on his birthday.

Therefore, I wish that individual wasn't present. I should be wishing him for you now, then. Why? In my bed, he is. There, he snoozes. Happy birthday to you, sweetie. Why must I go and inform billions of people that he is celebrating a birthday?

When she gets pregnant again will be the next time Kiekie shares pictures of her hubby, she continued.

But it'll be some time before you see him again. Only possibly, sha, if we had another child.
