Diastasis recti is a common condition that involves the separation of the rectus abdominis muscles during and after pregnancy. As the uterus expands to accommodate the growing fetus, it pushes against the stomach wall, which can cause the muscles to separate. Women over 35 are at a higher risk of developing this condition and may experience chronic back pain, urinary incontinence, and hernias as a result.
The severity of diastasis recti can vary, but with consistent work, healing can take anywhere from 6-12 months. With proper care and attention, the affected muscles can be strengthened, and the condition can be treated successfully.

gracefully_br9ken: I’ve got the same issue. Diastasis recti – It’s common for the 2 muscles that run down the middle of your stomach to separate during pregnancy. This is called diastasis recti, or divarication. The amount of separation can vary. It happens because your growing womb (uterus) pushes the muscles apart, making them longer and weaker.official_baibeylet: Women dey try aswear😩😥😭😭😭.
